Tennis Court In Sky

Yes the picture’s real. Burj Al Arab in Dubai is home to the world's highest tennis court (at times). At 210 meters (about 690 feet), it's pretty far up there. The hotel’s grass helipad, which has a surface area of 415 sq metres, was converted into a tennis court for the two players, to help promote this week’s Dubai Open. .link

The Green World

The official release states that the installation is supposed to “question the link between nature and city, and their difficult coexistence.”link

100-foot Long Rubber Ducky

A 100 foot  tall giant rubber duck, created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, was displayed in the Japanese city of Osaka recently. The rubber duckie (and its taller cousin) has been travelling around the world since its creation in 2007. link

Stunning Tulip Fields

At first glance, tulip fields looks like a giant child armed with a box of crayons has been set loose upon the landscape. With more than 10,000 hectares devoted to the cultivation of these delicate flowers, the Dutch landscape in May is a kaleidoscope of giddy colours as the tulips burst into life. link

The Stone Wave

This places called “The Wave” is located on the Colorado Plateau, near the Utah and Arizona border. The area is a gallery of gruesomely twisted sandstone, resembling deformed pillars, cones, mushrooms and other odd creations. It is made of Jurassic-age Navajo Sandstone that is approximately 190 million years old. Scientists who study The Wave say that the old sand dunes turned into hard compacted rock over the ages, calcifying in vertical and horizontal layers Erosion by wind and rain has created the spectacular landscape which appears now.link
